The Royston Shogi Congress was held on Saturday 13th September at the Coombes Community Centre in Royston, Herts, UK. The Congress was, to my great disappointment, very poorly attended, with only 7(!) players altogether competing in the 3 tournaments: Shogi, Tori-Shogi and Mini-Shogi. Unless the entry is much improved in 1998 (probably on September 12th), then the 1998 event will, regrettably, be the last to be held in Royston!
I hope I will see you all in Royston in 1998!!
